In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel and start your tour at the main pier of Puerto Ayora. There you will board a comfortable boat designed for day trips and navigate within 1:30h to Santa Fe Island. Santa Fe Island, one of the oldest islands in the Galápagos, offers a pristine and breathtaking natural experience. This full-day tour includes wildlife encounters, snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, and scenic hikes through unique landscapes. This island is home to the endemic land iguana, and an incredible place for snorkeling. Furthermore, it's known for its large sea lion colony that lives on both beaches. There are two hiking trails on the shore, both of which should give you the opportunity to see a special species of land iguana that can only be found on this island. The vegetation is highlighted by the large cactus trees. You will also have the chance to snorkel with sea lions at Santa Fe Island. Lunch will be served on board and after finishing all activities, you will move back to Puerto Ayora. The tour will end around 3.30pm.
