The island of Pinzón, sometimes also called Duncan Island, is surrounded by deep water and has been isolated from all other islands for millions of years. This island is dominated by rocks, low, thorny vegetation and sparse trees. Here you can observe Darwin's finches, Galapagos pigeons, flycatchers, Galapagos snakes as well as lava lizards and giant tortoises from the island of Pinzón. After a journey of around 1.30 hours, you will reach Bahía Pingüino, also called Bahía Pinzón, with crystal-clear water and the opportunity to observe numerous marine creatures. Here you can see sea lions, turtles, whitetip sharks, rays and various reef fish such as parrotfish and sometimes penguins. You can also spend some time fishing on board. After a 30-minute drive you will reach La Fe, a beach on the south-east coast of Santa Cruz with white sand and crystal clear water, where you can continue snorkeling or simply relax. The tour ends back in Puerto Ayora.
