You will start your tour in the morning from Santa Cruz island by taking the ferry to Isabela island. Upon arrival your tour will start together with a guide. You will visit the Arnaldo Tupiza Tortoise Breeding Center where you can see 5 different subspecies of Galápagos Giant Tortoise that are all native to Isabela, but currently threatened by habitat damage caused by introduced animals and volcanic eruptions. Furthermore, you will visit a nearby lagoon to have a look for flamingos and afterwards you will go by boat to Las Tintoeras for some snorkeling activity. Las Tintoreras takes its name from the whitetip reef sharks known as tintoreras. These are one of the most fascinating species on the Galapagos Islands. In the same area you can find sea lions, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, Sally Lightfoot crabs, sea turtles, pelicans and the peculiar Galapagos penguins. Lunch will be served before you start your ferry transfer to Santa Cruz Island at 3pm.
